Karak Chai Recipe

Ingredients:

1. Water – 1 cup

2. Black tea leaves – 1.5 teaspoons

3. Crushed cardamom pods – 2

4. Cloves – 2

5. Cinnamon stick – 1 small piece

6. Fresh ginger, grated – 1 teaspoon

7. Condensed milk or sugar – to taste

8. Evaporated milk or fresh whole milk – ½ Cup

Instructions:

1. Brew the Tea: In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add the black tea leaves, crushed cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and ginger. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.

2. Add Sweetness and Milk: Stir in the condensed milk or sugar according to your taste preference. Add the evaporated or fresh milk and bring the mixture back to a boil.

3. Simmer to Perfection: Reduce the heat and let the chai simmer for an additional 5 minutes or until it reaches the desired strength and flavor.

4. Strain and Serve: Strain the chai through a fine sieve into cups. Serve hot and enjoy the rich, spiced aroma and taste.
