Popular Halal Family Weekend Returns
A popular family event is set to take place later this year arranged by the Prophetic Path organisation.
Prophetic Path is an institute which focuses on arranging events and workshops to cultivate positive energy and mindsets.
This years Family Event will take place from 30 August – 2 September 2024 at Kingswood’s Dearne Valley in Doncaster.
The main aim of the event is to give people a fun-filled weekend along with meditation, reflection and self – development workshops for the entire family unit.
Saiqa Ellahi, event manager at Prophetic Path, said: “The summer family holiday is one of Prophetic Path’s flagship events, designed to provide families with a unique opportunity to bond, relax, and engage in enriching activities within a halal environment. Non Muslims are welcome too.
“It will be a combination of spiritual workshops, recreational activities and excursions as well as family bonding exercises. Activities range from archery, fencing, kayaking, abseiling, ziplining, orienteering and much more.
“Apart from the holiday event we hold a range of workshops and retreats internationally as well as youth events. Recently we worked with National Citizenship Service for the Youth Power Project where 300 youth from 19 towns in the UK, attended a weekend retreat where they were involved with a combination of activities and workshops aimed to foster positive behaviour and mindsets.
“We already have over 300 people booked and are expecting 600 people.”
Prophetic Path is a global self-development organisation focused on guiding individuals towards personal growth, spiritual enlightenment, and holistic well-being. Workshops are held nationally and globally, throughout the UK, across Europe, Australia, USA and the Middle East.

Also, ‘Prophetic Path Youth’ engages exclusively with the youth. Activities include movie nights, spa days, and outdoor excursions.
In addition to having an international reach, Prophetic Path also functions at a community level with other prominent organisations.
The ethos of Prophetic Path is deeply rooted in principles of personal growth, spiritual and emotional development, fostering community service, all guided by Islamic and global aspirational values.
It aims to foster a holistic approach to self-improvement, ensuring that every aspect of an individual’s life is aligned with moral, ethical and spiritual standards that leads to sustainable peace and contentment. They have been established for over 20 years.
